3. Data Processing by GF Utility

GF Utility processes form data within your WordPress installation:

  • Redact Utility: Processes form entries to remove sensitive data - all processing occurs locally on your server
  • Form Utilities: Modifies form behavior and display - no external data transmission

Important: GF Utility does not transmit form data or personal information to our servers or any third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate and sell GF Utility:

  • Freemius: Our primary e‑commerce and license management platform. When you purchase GF Utility, Freemius processes your:
    • Personal details (name, email address, company name)
    • Billing information and payment details (handled securely by payment processors)
    • License keys and activation status
    • Plugin updates and download links
    • Support ticket history (if you contact support through Freemius)

    Freemius acts as a Data Processor under GDPR. Their privacy policy and data processing terms are available at freemius.com/privacy.

  • Email Service Providers: For transactional emails (license keys, support responses, renewal notices)
  • Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics through Matomo

All third-party services are GDPR-compliant and maintain their own privacy policies. We only share data necessary for the service to function.

  • License data: Retained as long as your license is active, plus 1 year for renewal reminders
  • Support requests: Retained for 3 years to provide continuity in support
  • Website data: We do not retain data from your WordPress installation
  • Backups: Regular database backups are kept for 30 days
